ShowMe Guides Manual for Magento Users

ShowMe Guides Manual for Magento Users

Are you ready to take your online business to the next level? Magento Commerce is the NEXT-generation open source ecommerce program. Magento has every feature that made the original osCommerce so popular, along with the best features of CRE Loaded, Zen Cart and OSC-MAX. Magento also has advanced features found on million-dollar sites of large companies like Circuit City or Target. These features give customers the freedom to do on-the-fly decision-making about what product they want, zoom and pan on product images, perform product searches and get dynamic product suggestions. This book covers EVERY FEATURE a non-technical store owner needs to know in order to install, set up, and manage an online business with MAGENTO COMMERCE.

THIS BOOK IS FOR: * Non-technical readers with little web experience who are interested in starting an easy-to-run online store * Programmers or webmasters who want to turn out user-friendly ecommerce stores with a minimum of hassle.

By Susan Price “qotu”

This book has an abundance of screenshots and is a joy to read. Each step is illustrated, which is SO helpful when you’re knee-deep in client requirements and just want to get the cart UP already.

The sections are well-organized between basic information and advanced techniques and the more intimidating, time-consuming steps are rated by stars, so I’d know if a step was more complicated — which helped me plan my work. So often, software manuals are organized by the menu names so only people who know the program know where to find the information about it.

I got a lot of value from the practical tips and suggestions throughout. The chapter that makes it worth the price to me is the Quick Start chapter, which had just what I needed to set up a Magento cart pronto. After we had it running, we consulted – and still consult – the book as we’re making enhancements.
